2011 Morocco Trip Policies

(Applicable to The Samanah Classic & The El Jadida Classic)

FORMAT

The Samanah Classic and The El Jadida Classic will be 72-hole tournaments contested over one golf course with a maximum field size of 120 players and a guaranteed purse of $250,000. Following the completion of 36 holes, the field for each event will be cut to the low 60 players and ties.

EUROPEAN TOUR EXEMPTIONS

The winner of each of the two tournaments will be granted a spot in the European Tour’s King Hassan II Trophy – to be contested at Agadir Royal Golf Club in Agadir, Morocco on March 31 – April 3, 2011. The event was first contested in 1971 and boasts past champions such as Ernie Els, Padraig Harrington, Nick Price, Seve Ballesteros and Lee Trevino. The purse for the 2010 King Hassan II Trophy was €1,361,205 (Euros), or the equivalent of $1,727,754 (USD).

TOURNAMENT ENTRY FEE

The Samanah Classic & The El Jadida Classic (must play both):

• $3,700 (members)
• $4,200 (non-members)

• Fee includes entry into both tournaments, round-trip airfare from New York’s JFK International Airport to Casablanca, Morocco, complimentary hotel stays for the duration of both events (double occupancy) at the Hotel Kenzi Farah Marrakech and the Pullman Royal Golf and Spa El Jadida, complimentary breakfast and dinner at each hotel, and all ground transportation to and from the golf course during both events

 (All payments are subject to a 3% administrative processing fee. Players wishing to pay with a check MUST include the 3% fee. No exceptions.)

ELIGIBILITY

Of the 120 spots in the fields for both Morocco events, 110 will be reserved for 2011 members of the eGolf Professional Tour. The priority of entry will be based as follows:

·         The top 100 players on the 2010 eGolf Tour money list who are 2011 tour members.

·         The top 10 members not otherwise eligible, in order of finish, from the eGolf Tour’s season-opening 2011 Palmetto Hall Championship on February 16-19, 2011.

·         Any remaining spots will be filled by 2011 members not otherwise eligible, in the order in which they sign up.

ENTRY DEADLINE/WITHDRAWAL POLICY

The payment deadline for the Morocco trip is Friday, February 18^th at 6:00 PM.

·         Players may withdraw without penalty and receive a full refund up until Monday, February 21^st at 6:00 PM.

·         After February 21^st at 6:00 PM, players may withdraw and receive a full refund on SOLELY the tournament entry fees ($2,300 – member / $2,780 – non member), but not the flight/hotel/food, up until Friday, February 25^th at 6:00 PM.

·         Any player withdrawing after February 25^th at 6:00 PM, but before Sunday, February 27^th at 6:00 PM, will receive the same refund amount –  minus $400 for a late withdraw fee ($200 per event, as consistent with eGolf Tour policies).

·         Players withdrawing after Sunday, February 27^th at 6:00 PM will forfeit all monies paid. No Exceptions!

PRACTICE ROUNDS

      ·         All practice rounds for The Samanah Classic and The El Jadida Classic are included in the entry fee.
