Scottsdale, Arizona (November 25, 2014) - The eGolf Gateway Tour announced today that Desert Schools Federal Credit Union, the largest not-for-profit locally-based financial institution in the state of Arizona, has re-signed as Presenting Sponsor of the new 2014-2015 eGolf Gateway Tour West Coast Series.

The eGolf Gateway Tour West Coast Series features a slate of fourteen 54-hole tournaments throughout the greater Phoenix area and Southern California. The first event kicked off earlier this month at McCormick Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ, with the series concluding on April 6-8 at the Wigwam Golf Club in Litchfield, AZ.

Desert Schools is a full-service financial provider, from savings and lending to investments and online banking. It has a commitment to exceed expectations to its members and clients with superior service, personal convenience and products to fit each member's unique style and goals.

"We are excited to continue our partnership with the eGolf Gateway Tour and its players as Presenting Sponsor of their West Coast Series," said Ron Amstutz, Executive Vice President of Desert Schools Federal Credit Union. "Giving back to the community is very important to us and the Tour, and its players share that as well. That has made this partnership a natural fit."

Since 2010, Desert Schools has been a proud sponsor of the Tour. For the past two years, eGolf Gateway Tour players have participated in Desert Schools' annual Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) Charity Tournament. The 2014 event raised nearly $342,000, bringing Desert Schools' composited donation to more than $2.4 million since the event's inception. The credit union's contribution will help fund the 1 Darn Cool School Program at Phoenix Children's Hospital, an initiative to help kids keep up with their schoolwork during their stay in the hospital.

"The support we receive from sponsors is integral to maintain and grow the Tour, and we are grateful to Desert Schools and all of our sponsors for the support they give us," said Ryan Pray, managing partner of the Gateway Golf Group and consultant for eGolf Gateway Tour. "We are equally excited to continue to support Desert Schools' charity tournament, benefiting The Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and Phoenix Children's Hospital."

Players can still register to participate in the remaining eGolf Gateway Tour West Coast Series tournaments. Universal memberships, which allow member access to tournaments on both the West and East Coasts, are currently $1,750, but are set to increase to $2,000 on Dec. 15, 2014.

The 2014-15 eGolf Gateway Tour schedule will feature four $200,000 guaranteed-purse events, with select West and East Coast tournaments putting forth guaranteed minimum purses of $75,000 to $100,000 weekly.
