Charlotte, NC – The eGolf Tour announced today that Carlsbad, CA-based iliac Golf by Bert LaMar has been named as the “Official Apparel Company” of the tour, offering purchasing programs to all tour members while putting forth some of the most unique and stylish clothing lines from one of the apparel industry’s fastest-rising companies.

iliac Golf by Bert LaMar, which outfits some of the PGA TOUR’s top players, is the brainchild of former skateboarding prodigy, snowboarding star and snowboard designer Bert LaMar. LaMar’s passion for golf was born in the late 1990s while watching The Masters in a Breckenridge, CO hotel room during a snowboarding competition. With an eye on the joy the game provided and the relative ease of pursuit compared to years atop mountains on a snowboard, LaMar pursued golf with a passion, eventually become a six-time club champion with a handful of wins on the California-based Golden State Tour to his credit.

His early success in the game gave way to a lifelong desire to succeed in the apparel industry, founded early by his parents.

“I've been around fashion, design and sport my entire life. My mother was a designer and my father was a plastics engineer. I was a professional skateboarder, then a world champion snowboarder which led to my own snowboard brand Lamar Snowboards,” said LaMar. “I have been designing technical products for my top athletes, myself and customers for most of my life. My passion for tournament golf and relationships with my players like Jimmy Walker only help my work.”

As the official apparel company of the eGolf Tour, all tour members will be afforded a 20% price reduction towards any purchase through iliac Golf by Bert LaMar. Tour staff will be outfitted in iliac apparel at each event, in turn brining the company’s modern and stylish look to all facets of an eGolf Tour event.
